M15R

The one to follow might be a bold statement for the M15R, but this amplifier is the first of a new breed.
With Quad oversized 0 GA positive and negative power inputs, the Raven demands power to make power.
Each cable fused at 300 A, an impressive 1200 Ampere of current is what is expected to make this monolith come alive.

Several years of R & D with the predecessors of the M series amps has been incorporated into the M15R.
The power output is of course the culmination of such, but all the small steps of getting there is what makes the Raven stand out.

The unique heatsink design made exclusively for this amplifier is not only cosmetical, but it offers even better heat dispersion compared to any M series amplifiers.
Even though it is only 2 cm / .8″ wider, the pcb is actually 20% wider than the M1u / M12R. Not only does this offer bigger and wider copper traces which is essential for more power,
but we also incorporated the Quad inputs, that are mirrored, so each side reflects the other.

Compact power

To ensure we didn’t go full surfboard length, we wanted to make the Raven as compact as possible for a traditional Class D design.
This can also be seen in the power supply section, here we have chosen 6 XXL sized transformers, instead of opting for several small.
Wouldn’t that lower the power, you might think? The nearly 50% larger German made ferrite core used in our amplifier, overshawdows the ones commonly used in comparative designs.

Carrying on our philisophy of not only high power, but increased capacitance to store it, this amplifier offers the largest capacitor bank of its kind on the output side.
The core benefit is that this amp is made for music, where you need a power reserve for it to be dynamic. Not as many common high power designs, nearly only made for a single tone burp.

The voltage

To keep your voltage in check, we have assigned an AVD port (Amplifier Voltage Display). The RJ 45 socket in the AVD will connect to our voltmeter and display the actual voltage of the amp. Not just the batteries supplying it. We do also offer a bluetooth version of the voltmeter with a voltage log that is stored in your IOS or Android device.

The Raven pays tribute to both Norse mythology, the Danish Vikings and the first Danish flag that fell from the sky in the sucessfull battle in the Baltics back in the 13th century.
It is therefore with pride that we have presented the M15R as the Raven, the one to follow.
