MAXIMUM DISPLACEMENT
THE COILS
To manage heat, the 4‑layer copper coil is wound on a ventilated aluminum former, allowing airflow to reach the coil windings directly. This reduces thermal compression and keeps performance consistent during extended high‑power playback. The 4‑layer progressive‑roll spider gives the cone the freedom to move while maintaining precise mechanical control.Â
The surround geometry follows a narrow U‑shaped profile, intentionally designed to preserve as much Sd as possible. More cone area means more air moved per watt, giving the RIOT15 a natural advantage in low‑frequency efficiency and overall output. This translates directly into deeper, fuller, more authoritative bass.
