Each Rampage speaker is meticulously designed to push the boundaries of technology and sound quality; however, creating a model tailored specifically for RC cars presented a unique challenge that required innovative thinking and engineering.
It was essential to achieve an impressive aesthetic that would captivate enthusiasts while ensuring optimal performance and exceptional durability. Utilizing our highly regarded Rampage 18″ model as a solid foundation, we successfully scaled it down to a compact 2″, achieving an almost 1/10 scale without compromising on design integrity.
LOUD WITH AN ATTITUDE
The Rampage RC2 Mini loudspeaker boasts a diameter of 2.24 inches and a mounting depth of 2.32 inches. Its design optimally accommodates the constrained space in RC cars, ensuring a secure installation that upholds performance standards. Despite its compact dimensions, the RC2 has a power rating of 30W RMS, with users documenting multiple back to back frequency runs that exceed 120 Watts peak.
While primarily designed for RC cars, it has also been utilized in diverse applications, such as PC loudspeakers, as it can effectively reproduce frequencies up to 6000 Hz. Additionally, some users have ingeniously developed smaller Bluetooth speakers using this component. The Rampage RC2 resonates with nostalgia, encouraging innovative use cases.
