The Rampage Subwoofers are known for their exceptional performance and heavy-duty design, built to provide deep, powerful bass in high-performance car audio systems. With the latest additon, the Rampage 10, we downscale the size, but maintain the performance in sound clarity and SPL.
UNLEASH THE BEAST
The Rampage 10 houses a 3″ full-aluminum, 8-layer voice coil within a motor structure consisting of triple 1″ tall and 8.67″ wide Y35 ferrite slugs. This design supports a full 30 mm (1.2″) Xmax, made possible by the new ventilated top plate design. To ensure a lower fs without adding excessive mass or creating an overly stiff configuration, the chosen spider setup consists of a dual-spaced, 2-layer Nomex progressive roll spider, totaling 4 spiders.
TWS – Tall Wide Surround
After extensive simulations and real-world optimization, the new TW (Tall Wide) surround made its debut in the RAGE XL series in 2023. While it may resemble other large surrounds, this design strikes an optimal balance between cone area and surround width. The key innovation lies in its narrower profile and slightly taller roll, offering the perfect compromise. This unique design ensures more consistent BL at 70% Xmax, outperforming previous surrounds that often faltered when pushed to their limits. When coupled with the smooth carbon fiber cone, the Rampage 10 delivers both superior strength and stability.
